Which islands?
From mountains to atolls: focus on what you want to experience.

Green valleys. Blue that changes by the hour. And, finally, the desire to take your time.
French Polynesia is as rewarding on land as it is by the water. Lush mountains complement translucent lagoons; relaxing days are balanced by encounters, traditions and paths into the islands' interiors.
A honeymoon, a gentle family adventure or a journey of discovery: your itinerary is more than a collection of islands. Together, we choose the stops, comfort and room for spontaneity that give each stay its meaning.
High islands and atolls offer different experiences. Explore them before shaping your itinerary.

Papeete, valleys and volcanic landscapes.

Mountains, bays and lagoon life.

Otemanu, shades of blue and time for two.

Villages, heritage and island rhythms.

Atolls, lagoons and slower days.

Valleys, culture and grand mountains.

Polynesia is also about stories passed down, a relationship with the sea and everyday traditions. A market, a meal, an outing with a guide: leave room for encounters beyond the familiar images.
A hike, a lagoon excursion and an unscheduled day each have a different pace. We balance everyone's wishes and check services, access and local conditions before selecting them.

For your honeymoon, a beautiful setting matters. But pleasure also comes from days that reflect you: shared discoveries, a well-located room and free time.
An overwater bungalow can make a special stop. A guesthouse can offer a different connection with a place. Let us define your priorities before adding more hotels.

Choose my travel periodDuration, transfers, accommodation and budget: plan a coherent journey.
Prepare my journeyPolynesia is best viewed as a collection of different worlds. The mountains of the Society Islands, the low horizons of the Tuamotu and the Marquesan landscapes create very different days. Your itinerary can seek contrasts between these worlds or explore one archipelago in greater depth. The number of islands visited does not measure the richness of the journey.
To choose, imagine an entire day rather than a photograph: would you like to explore a village, walk, enjoy the lagoon or discover cultural heritage? Your answers help determine how to divide the nights. They also help decide where to prioritise a particular property and where a simpler, well-located place better suits your style of travel.
Ideas for discovery to personalise according to your dates, pace and local possibilities.
A journey through Tahiti, Moorea and a Leeward Island offers beautiful contrasts. Tahiti brings Papeete's lively atmosphere and inland discovery; Moorea combines bays, valleys and lagoon. Huahine or Bora Bora then give the final part of your stay a different character, according to your priorities and the time devoted to each stop.
This trio is not compulsory. If Bora Bora is central to your dream, we can give it generous time; if villages and culture appeal to you, Huahine may play a larger role. A coherent journey is built around the time you spend, the location of your accommodation and available connections, rather than a succession of famous names.
A Society Island can be combined with a Tuamotu atoll. Mountainous scenery gives way to a horizontal landscape of ocean, lagoon, vegetation and inhabited areas. Sometimes one carefully chosen stop is enough to experience this difference, without multiplying flights between atolls or reducing each to a single overnight stop.
The Marquesas offer another direction, more land-focused, cultural and remote. They need a dedicated place in your itinerary, rather than two nights squeezed between other stops. Nuku Hiva and Hiva Oa can form a complementary pairing of landscapes and stories, provided you allow time for the valleys and the guided discoveries selected and confirmed for your trip.
Overwater accommodation, culture and unplanned days can all coexist. Setting priorities helps distribute your budget without sacrificing the whole stay for a single night or particular image.
A motu, the main island, a village or a secluded garden all change meals, transport and free time. The view alone does not tell you what everyday life will be like during your stay.
Flights and transfers need to be planned together. A connection shown on a map does not mean the sequence is comfortable or feasible on your chosen dates and with your intended overnight stays.
Two to three weeks can inspire different journeys: a few Society Islands or a combination with another archipelago. We start with the usable days and allow margins around international travel. Adding an island should bring an experience, rather than simply another airport arrival and transfer.
The individual island pages help refine your initial choice; seasonal and preparation guides complete the planning. An escorted departure offers another way to discover the destination through its confirmed programme. The tailor-made ideas presented here are not additional services included in the group trips published on the site.
