Choose your parks and safari duration
Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire offer complementary landscapes and approaches. The choice depends on the number of nights, the period and the links between the stages. It is not enough to add parks: track times and the comfort of the trips are part of the experience.
A family safari or a trip for two
The age of the participants, the length of the days, the type of vehicle and the rules of accommodation must be examined. Animal observations remain subject to nature; no animal or wildlife scene can be promised.
Understand your safari quote
Parks entrances, vehicle and guide, accommodation, meals, flights and transfers must be compared on the same basis. A possible swimming pool stay is prepared separately according to the group’s connections and desires.

The age of the participants, the duration of the days and the rules of each accommodation must be examined. The speed and vehicle must be specified before the project is confirmed.

A safari shaped by landscapes, overnight stays and patient observation
Tanzania is discovered with different environments and rhythms. The Tarangire baobabs, Ngorongoro landscapes and the Serengeti plains don’t give the same reading of the savannah. Their association becomes exciting when the time on the site remains at the measurement of distances.
The quality of the safari is not only counted in outputs. Localization of the nights, continuity of the route and pauses change the days. Return to a sector allows you to notice more details, without making the search of a species an obligation or a promise of travel.

The northern parks and their contrasts
A first route can connect Tarangire, the Ngorongoro region and a part of the Serengeti. The roads between these spaces are part of the stay. The nights are determined with the areas actually travelled, so that the travel does not absorb the days of discovery and rest.
The Serengeti needs to clarify the sector selected. Landscape and fauna movements are not in a fixed place all year. Migration is a natural phenomenon, not a secure date. The route must keep its interest in its atmosphere and spaces.
A focused safari followed by Zanzibar's rhythm
Limiting the number of parks allows you to give more time to a few areas, before you get to Zanzibar. This option leaves a real sequence of rest after the safari. Connection to the archipelago and transfers must count in total duration, with enough nights on the island.
Stone Town and the coast meet different desires. The streets, history and flavours deserve their time, while a beach is chosen with its exposure and local conditions. Coastal stay does not automatically imply a water activity every day.
The vehicle and travellers
A private safari and a shared discovery do not offer the same flexibility. The number of passengers, seats in the vehicle and the organization of the accompanying must be explicit.
Nights in the right places
A camp away from the discovery sector can extend the day. Comparing its implantation helps to understand the differences between routes that still show the same names of parks.
The natural priority
Large spaces, diversity of environments or migration periods are the project’s direction. No scene is guaranteed: the journey must remain rich if nature presents itself differently.
Give the journey the right pace
With a short duration, choosing fewer parks and keeping several nights per sector brings continuity. Zanzibar requires additional days to not absorb safari time. A lighter day also allows you to enjoy the camp and its nearby landscapes.
Extend without spreading too thin
Kenya is another major safari destination, but meeting the two countries is not necessary for a first approach. A more active discovery around the mountains is also a distinct preparation. To deepen Tanzania can give more coherence than a very extensive first project.
