A urban bay, a red land horizon, a tropical forest and then the colors of the reef: Australia has several scales of departure. Their immense power invites you to choose. A successful journey is not to connect all the emblematic landscapes, but to give each region enough space for it to become something other than a short break.

Your dates, your desire to drive and your interest in nature are the direction of the construction. A route between cities and parks does not have the same boundaries as a road cross or a sea-centered stay. We distinguish the pleasant trails to travel from large distances that justify an air connection, depending on the possibilities of the moment.

Sydney, the Red Centre and Queensland

Sydney offers a matter entrance between neighborhoods, bay and coastal walks. A sequence around Uluru and Kata Tjuta then brings another report to the landscape and its history. The discovery gains to be accompanied by explanations on the places and culture of the Anangu, in compliance with local access and instructions.

On the side of Cairns, the tropical forest and the Great Coral Barrier give a third line to the journey. A sea-out is chosen according to your water-comfort and confirmed services. It is better to keep flexible days in each region than multiply flights to add an additional image to this first Australian view.

The South, between cities and roadside scenery

We prefer to build a readable progression, with several nights in certain bases, rather than a circuit where the next accommodation decides on each day.

Drive at your own pace

Distances, driving to the left and pauses influence the stages. The vehicle must correspond to the scheduled routes and rental conditions, without assuming that an isolated route is running like a urban road.
