Papeete gives a first reading of local life: the market, the streets of the centre and the dinner. By leaving the city, valleys, gardens and the suburbs open on a volcanic Polynesia, far from the only image of white sand.

Before you join the other islands, keep a program compatible with the international arrival. A tour in the interior is prepared with an appropriate provider; access conditions and possibilities of visit must be confirmed.

Make Tahiti a discovery, more than a connection

Tahiti has a depth that is rarely imagined from a fast scale. Papeete gives a urban and vibrant entrance to the country; coastal roads, valleys and nearby islands open other images. One step allows you to understand the relationship between mountain and sea edge before you go on to other Polynesian horizons that then reveal themselves under a different day.

It is not necessary to travel the whole island in one trait. A neighborhood or a sector changes the days: nearby to the city, cultural discoveries or the atmosphere removed from Tahiti Iti. It is useful to distinguish a practical night after the international arrival from several nights designed to discover Tahiti for itself, with free time and real possibilities of exploration.

Papeete and a cultural introduction to your journey

A first sequence is articulated around Papeete, with a place for the market, streets and sea front according to possibilities. The goal is not to visit forced walk after the flight. A cultural or heritage visit to the island can complement this approach, with access verified at the time of the project.
