Vietnam speaks in the movement of cities as well as in the rhythm of campaigns. In Hanoi, a street, a cafe and a neighborhood kitchen already give a first experience. In Hué, the history and landscapes of the river bring a different atmosphere. The pleasure comes from this time left to the small discoveries.
North, Central and South each have a distinct personality and seasonal conditions. They need enough nights and connections. A two-regional stay can give more time to markets, landscapes and meetings than a changing base journey almost every morning.

Hanoi, Ninh Binh and a bay for a first taste of the North
Hanoi can be combined with the landscapes of Ninh Binh, where calcary reliefs, rivers and waterways create a very different design of the capital. The choice of the base and time of visit is important. A real step allows you to look at the landscapes differently than during a hurry passage to another place.
The Ha Long or Lan Ha region can complement the route with a navigation. A night on board and a day-out don’t give the same stay: boat, comfort and real time on the water are exactly compared. Weather and navigation conditions can lead to adapting the course.
Hué, Hoi An and the South, with manageable connections
Hué brings the traces of the imperial period; Hoi An invites to discover architecture, craftsmanship and landscapes around. A base near the ancient center and an address on the shore meet different desires. Choosing them with dates and travel allows you to keep real free moments.
More south, Ho Chi Minh City and a step in the Mekong Delta open another reading of the country. Visited sectors, time on waterways and road trails must be distinguished. The delta is not a uniform decor: local cities, activities and rhythms are also of interest.

The available duration guides the number of flights and long flights. A concentrated path allows to deepen the stages rather than multiply the correspondences.
