Norway changes scale according to the direction chosen. The shores of a western fjord, an architectural stop in Oslo and an Arctic coast do not tell the same country. Even traveling can become discoveries: a train, a cross or a panoramic road give a different reading of water and relief.

The first choice is geographical before being a list of activities. Do you want the big fjords, the life of cities, the landscapes of Lofoten or a winter experience around Tromsø? A well-selected area can slow down. It also leaves more latitude in the face of a weather that fully participates in the character of the journey.

Bergen and the western fjords

Bergen offers a living starting point, with its port, its wooden neighborhoods and the hills surrounding it. A route can then attach to a fjord area, associating a cross with stages on its shores. It is also interesting to see how this landscape is inhabited.

The Oslo Square will depend on access and time available. A rail cruise can give sense to this connection rather than delete it from the program. In the fjords, several nights at the same place allow you to choose a walk, a day on the water or a tour according to real conditions.

The North, between islands and great light

Lofoten, Senja and the Tromsø region form strong desires, but do not automatically gather in a short stay. Fishermen villages, mountainous silhouettes and Arctic beaches justify the selection of a sector. Road times must keep a place for the stops, which make the wealth of this coastal discovery.
